I’m Kristen Watson — designer, cabinetry specialist, and founder of KD Design. I partner with homeowners and builders to create warm, intentional spaces rooted in beauty, function, and connection.

I believe thoughtful cabinetry has the power to completely transform the way a home feels and functions. The kitchen is often where life happens — where mornings begin, conversations unfold, and people naturally gather.

My approach starts with listening — understanding how you live, what matters most, and how your space needs to perform. From there, I design layouts and select materials that feel warm, cohesive, and intentional. Whether I’m helping with a full kitchen design, a custom mudroom, or guiding finish selections across the entire home, I’m focused on details that make everyday living easier and more beautiful.
